He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ponder; his son Scottie Laws (Laura); his granddaughters, Jessica Howell (Sam) and Britney Richardson (Levi); his great grandchild Arya Howell; his siblings-in-law, Sharon and Freddie Boyer; and his siblings, Donald Ponder (Beth) of Burnsville, Penny Ponder of Burnsville and Kathy Griggs of Burnsville.
