It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Johnson (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Johnson and Eva Renfro Johnson; and his son-in-law Bob Robinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Martha Hoilman Johnson of Bakersville; his children, Connie Robinson of Spruce Pine and Chris Johnson (Angie) of Bakersville; his granddaughter Allie Johnson of Bakersville; and his brother James Johnson (Frances) of Spruce Pine.
