With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank James Briggs (Burnsville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Briggs and Mary Cooper Briggs; and his siblings, Lee Briggs, Bula Carroll, Edna Peterson, Pat Boccoli and Ruby Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Hughes Briggs; his daughter Staci Briggs Ammons (Garry Johnson) of Asheville; his sister Kathy Kimery (Gary) of Limestone, TN; and his sister-in-law Flora Briggs of Cherryville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
