She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Raymond Whitson and Ima Jean Westall. She is survived by: her parents, Barry Johnson and Robin Johnson of South Toe; her daughter Paxton Nola Johnson; her brother Luke Johnson (Ashlyn Randolph) of South Asheville; her grandmother Shirley Whitson of Big Creek; and her aunts and uncles, Lisa Honeycutt (Earl) of Big Creek, Lynn McArthur (David) of Charlotte, Annette Funk (Dan) of Columbus, OH, Mark Whitson (Mary), Bill Johnson of Charlotte and Sam Johnson of Atlanta. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to South Estatoe Baptist Church at 32 South Estatoe Baptist Church Road, Burnsville, NC 28714 for a community outreach walking track Haley wanted to start for others to be able to get healthy, both mentally and physically, and to be together to support one another.
