He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Rob" Frye and Carrie Davis Frye; and his siblings, Tommy Frye, Leon Frye, Shirley Frye and Doris McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Huskins Frye; his children, Brian Frye (Gwen) of Green Mountain and Melissa Cipriano (Chad) of Denver, NC; his grandchildren, Brittany Thomason (Brandon) of Green Mountain, Bradley Frye (Mariah), Eli Cipriano and Kendall Cipriano; his great grandchildren, Korbin Thomason, Adley Thomason, Mailey Thomason, Weston Thomason and Hazelyn Frye; his sister Irene Frye of Charlotte; and his sister-in-law Lois Frye of Spruce Pine. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery (1100 Cabbage Patch Rd, Seven Mile Ridge Burnsville, NC 28714).
