She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Young and Cordie English Young; her husband Tommy Cornett; her granddaughter Crystal Noell Cornett; and her siblings, Robert Young, Carroll Young, Thelma Pittman, Betty Effler, Phyllis Townsend, Doris Jones and Rebecca Young Henson.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Cornett of Montezuma and Rebecca Cornett of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Ethan Cornett (Marisa) of Roan Mountain, TN, Bradley Cornett (Heather) of Ingalls, Gavin Dugger of Montezuma, Kimberly Dugger (Zachary Hall) of Montezuma, Elijah Cornett of Montezuma and T. J. Cornett of Roan Mountain, TN; her great grandchildren, Sam Webb, Lucas Patterson and Emmett Cornett; and her brother-in-law Wayne Townsend of Ingalls. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
