She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Stump and Gladys Boyd Stump English; her husband David Hensley; and her siblings, Eugene Stump, Buddy Stump and Kathy Stump Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Hensley of Fox Creek, Mary Lynn Norton (David) of Marshall, Melanie Hensley of Fox Creek, Brian Hensley (Michelle) of Fox Creek and Scotty Hensley (Kayla) of Burnsville; her grandchildren, DJ Norton, Bryson Hensley and Olivia Hensley; her brother Kenny Stump (Doris); her sister-in-law Betty Stump; and her sister Geraldine Stump (Grace Davis). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fox Creek Missionary Baptist Church (21 Fox Creek Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
