He is survived by: his wife Ginger Grindstaff Phillips; his children, Sherri Silvers (Alan) and Greg Phillips (Nelda); his grandsons, Blandon Silvers (Kim), Nick Silvers (Chloe) and Alexander Silvers (Ellie); his pets, Ana, Ava and Autumn Phillips; his great grandchildren, AJ, Adam, McKinnley, Tristan, Olivia and Nixon Silvers; his sister Geraldine Banks (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Silver and Norma Grindstaff.
