It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Oscarson of Burnsville, North Carolina, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on March 30, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Mary Chandler Oscarson and James Charles Oscarson; and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Martha Frazer Parry; and his sisters, Sharon Rogers (Dana) and Lynn Sabin (Wayne).

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Galapagos Conservancy at 11150 Fairfax Blvd. #408, Fairfax, VA 22030.
