He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Shuford and Zora Lane Shuford; his brothers, Wilford Lee Shuford, Richard Daniel Shuford and James "Jim" Ray Shuford; his parents-in-law, Brinton and Myrtle Hollifield; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Kay Jarvis Shuford, Irene Blevins Shuford, Kathleen Fender Shuford, Ray Hollifield, Gary Hollifield, Junior Wilson and Bill Bailey; and also Aften Dale Shuford.
He is survived by: his children, Samanthia McIntosh (William) of Burnsville and Kevin Shuford (Amy) of Burnsville; his grandsons, Seth McIntosh (Megan) of Erwin, TN, Jacob Shuford (Hayley) of Spruce Pine, Adam Shuford (Kaitlyn) of Marshall and Isaac Shuford (Mariah) of Burnsville; his siblings, Martin Shuford of Micaville, Troy Shuford (Fran) of Marion, Lillian Shuford Huskins of South Toe and Linda Hendricks (John) of Spruce Pine; and his sisters-in-law, Beulah Bailey and Shirley Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
