He was predeceased by: his mother Dollie Dulaney Waldrop; his wife Juanita Dale Hollifield Waldrop; his grandparents, Jeff, Carrie Waldrop, James Lucius and Dora Hughes Dulaney; his siblings, Glenn Waldrop, Dorothy Burrell and Helen Blair; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Waldrop, Lynn Johnson, Jackie Waldrop and Michael Waldrop.
He is survived by: his father Frank Leroy Waldrop; his children, Melissa Waldrop of Burnsville, N. C., Kenny Waldrop of Burnsville, N. C. and Matthew Waldrop of Bakersville, N. C.; his grandchildren, Savannah Buchanan, Dylan Waldrop, Kenzie Waldrop, Lawson Waldrop, Abby Waldrop and James Waldrop; and his brother Gary Waldrop of Hickory.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
