She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarkston Hollifield and Annie Belle Branch Hollifield; and her siblings, Bette Hollifield Barrier, Clarence Hollifield, Shelby Hollifield, Virginia Waycaster, Ellie Zimmerman and Oaklee Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her son Eric Franklin (Dorinda); her granddaughter Haley Franklin of Boone; and her siblings, Sue Pickard (Bob) of Roxboro, Wanda Franklin of Advance and Junior Hollifield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
