He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gotch and Maefrie Boone Allen; and his brothers, Andrew Allen (Betty), Max Allen (Linda), Lenny Allen and Tilson Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Imajean Ray Allen; his daughter Tina Hall (Randy); his grandson Matthew Hall (Haley); his great grandchildren, Madalyn of Burnsville and Harper Hall of Burnsville; his siblings, James Allen of Charleston, SC, Eugene Allen of Barnardsville and Linda Huntley of Fairview; and his sister-in-law Teresa Allen of Florida. He is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Allen Family Cemetery (31 Burleson Branch Rd, Barnardsville, NC 28709).
