She was predeceased by: her parents, Lake Burnett Roland and Ora Euteva Calloway Roland; her son Andy Vance McMahan; and her siblings, Ester Julia Edwards, Elizabeth "Bib" Roberts, John "J. B." Roland, Ellis Roland, Charles "Chuck" Roland, Daniel Roland, Richard Roland, Gail Roland and Carl Roland.
She is survived by: her sons, Richmond McMahan (Kim) of Spruce Pine and Carl McMahan (Bobbie) of Sawmill Hollow; her daughter-in-law Tammy McMahan; and her grandchildren, Casey Shepherd (Stephen), Carleigh McMahan, Elizabeth Capps (Justin), Katelynd Willis (Curtis), Bylinda McMahan, Danielle Virnelson (Jake) and Jon McMahan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
