We bid farewell to Maxine McCurry of Burnsville, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Maxine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dot Austin and Lela Robinson Austin; her niece Paula Wright; her sister Doris Wright; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Wright and Bob Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Bainbridge of Charlotte, Kimberly Young (Sam) of Burnsville and Steve McCurry (Holly) of Asheville; her grandchildren, Joshua Young (Julia Edson), Nicole Bainbridge, Matthew Bainbridge, Kyndall Smith (Zach) and Jackson McCurry; her great grandchildren, George and Colton; her sisters, Mary Ruth Webb, Rachel Buckner (Donald), Susie Fox (Tommy) and Karen Robinson (Jim); and her pet Frisky.
