She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Renfro and Abbie Davis Renfro. She is survived by: her daughter Christy Warehime (David) of Chuckey, TN; her grandchildren, Matthew Colson (Jasmine) of Kingsport, TN, Michael Colson of Kingsport, TN, Courtney Merryman (Eric) of Parkville, MD and Brandon Colson of Westminster, MD; her great grandchild Maverick Colson (Rebecca Jones); and her siblings, Ricky Renfro (Joann) of Spruce Pine, NC and Mary Willis of Burnsville.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Yancey Funeral Services to help the family with expenses. Keep Modean's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
