She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clark and Nan Clark; her husband J. C. Hill; her grandson Steven Hill; and her siblings, Wayne Buchanan, Carl Clark, Daisy Harrison and Bill Clark.
She is survived by: her sons, Howard Hill (Katie) of Buladean, NC and Charlie Hill (Bobby Lee) of Spruce Pine, NC; her grandchildren, Megan Bennett (Lee), Dalton Hill, Austin Hill and Joshua Hill; her great grandchildren, Addison Bennett, Trinity Bennett, Colton Hill, Parker Hill, Tucker Hill and Mason Hill; and her siblings, Frances McKinney of Hampton, TN and Mike Clark of Elizabethton, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Garland-Blevins Cemetery (684 Blevins Branch Rd, Bakersville, NC 28705).
