With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebekah Gabriel of Burnsville, North Carolina, born in Boone, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Rebekah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rebekah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Gabriel and Donnie Gabriel. She is survived by: her daughters, Kalina Cunningham (Chip) of Raleigh, NC and Jessica Martin of Wilmington; her siblings, Karen Dunlap (Monty) of Blowing Rock, NC, Richard Gabriel (Linda) of Asheville, NC and Tom Gabriel (Louise) of Durham, NC; and her grandsons, Dylan and Lucas.
