We announce the death of Ronald Ward Hancock (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Hancock and Mildred "Cricket" Myers Hancock. He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann (Autrey); his son Van Hancock; his daughter-in-law Susan Ann Cantrell; his granddaughter-in-law Sarah Elizabeth Bobotis (George Harry Bobotis)); his great grandchild Kate Alexa Bobotis; his sister Mary-Jane; his nieces, Kate and Laurie; his nephew David; John and Paul Maddox.

In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Land O' Sky Trout Unlimited chapter in Ron's name.
