She was predeceased by: her parent Willie; and her husband Jacob "Jake" Alston. She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette A. Paschall; her son-in-law Simon "Bernard" Paschall; her son Steve Alston (Estelle); her sister Alice Sanford; her grandchildren, Gary Paschall (Katrina), Anesta Hackney (David), Kendra Brown (Darren), Steven and Elissa Alston; her great grandchildren, Camille, Jordin, Garrick, Samone, Nina, Ayden, Stella and Max; and her nephew Dannie Daniel.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (901 E F St, Butner, NC 27509). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the Stem Memorial Garden.
