He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Pete" Luther Dixon and Ruth Fuller Dixon; and his son Michael Allen Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Dixon; his sons, Ron Derek Dixon (Terry) of Stem, Ricky Marshall Dixon (Peter Tocci) and Dwain Cully Dixon of Durham; his grandchildren, Seth Dixon (April) of Stem and Jessica Morris (Justin) of Butner; and his great grandchildren, Keirra, Kinsley, Kaelyn, Kasey, Chandler and Harper.
