He is survived by: his wife Martha Jane Cates Hill; his children, Melody Hill Smith (John) and Everette "Marty" Hill Jr. (Debbie); and his sisters, Sandra Collins and Clara Lindsay. He is also survived by five step-children and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
