She was predeceased by: her husband William Randolph Strickland; her parents, Fannie Eakes and William "Billy" Blake Roberts; her brother Alton Ray Roberts; and her close friend Willis Abbott.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Strickland Parrott (Timothy); her grandson Randy Parrott (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Kinsey and Riley.
