He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul D. Scarboro and Gracie M. Scarboro; and his sisters, Myrtle Wright and Marie Howard. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Scarboro Baines (Tommy Baines) and Jerry Wayne Scarboro of Stem; his grandson Thomas A. Baines; his stepgranddaughter Jordan Baines; his brother Walter Scarboro of Danville, VA; his former wife Brenda Scarboro; and his close friend Richie Baines. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
