Anthony James Stone Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Anthony James Stone of Calabash, North Carolina is shared. Anthony, born on December 31, 1962, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Anthony will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stone and Helen Stone (Gaines); and his siblings, Theresa Hollars and Steven Stone. He is survived by: his wife Julia Williard Stone; his son Austin Stone (Ivey); and his siblings, Dwight Stone (Kim), Timothy Stone (Daisy) and Cynthia Cole (Gary).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kernersville Moravian Church (504 S Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284).

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Leukemia Research Foundation and Kernersville Moravian Church.
