She is survived by: her children, Keith Asplund (Pamela), Karen Asplund, Cameron (Brad), Kyle Asplund (Sally) and Kenneth Asplund; her siblings, Donald McKean (Sylvia) and Carol Haack; her grandchildren, Brittany McEnnis, Annika Asplund, Madelyn Hedrick (Tanner), Camden Asplund, Connor Asplund and Meredith Asplund; her great grandchildren, Colin McEnnis and Lorena Hedrick; her stepchildren, Jeanne Keeler (Ray) and Robert Nelson (Shari); her stepgrandchildren, Andrea Huffman (Clay), Steven Keeler and Dillon Keeler (Emma); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, John Huffman and McEwen Huffman.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the White Funeral and Cremation Service (4690 East Coast Ln, Shallotte, NC 28470).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org.
