He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Green and Louis Marlow; his wife Bonnie Green; his children, Annie Green and Wilber Green, Jr.; his brothers, Eddie and Joseph Green; and his grandchildren, Raymond Marlow, Anthony Grissett and Raqun Green.
He is survived by: his children, Willa Marlowe (Alfred) of Thomasboro, NC, Rosa Green (Curtis) of Columbia, SC, Dora Green (Vince) of Durham, NC, Gilbert Green (Stephanie) of Calabash, NC and Raymond Green (Anthony) of Longwood, NC; his siblings, Mary Stanley of Calabash, NC, Elizabeth Relford of Calabash, NC, Lina Johnson of Calabash, NC, Geneva Davis and Noah Green (Emma) of Longs, SC; his children-in-law, Willie Joe Grissett and Anthanet Green; his siblings-in-law, Annie Vereen, Estelle Wilson, Rosa Pearl Grissett, Everlina Green and Charlie Marlowe (Ada); and his close friends, Hill, Curtis Johnson, Charlie Ray Vaught, Rev. William Henry Vereen, Jason and Tulsa Scott. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (2410 Shields Rd, Little River, SC 29566). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (8950 Ocean Hwy W, Calabash, NC 28467).
