Anita Moody Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Moody of Camden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidoro Davila and Herlinda Deleon Davila; her husband Daniel C. Moody; her siblings, Irene Garza, Benjamin Davila, Joel Davila and Isidoro Davila; and her in-laws, James and Norita Horton.
She is survived by: her children, Norita Moody Byrum, Patricia Moody Chappell (Brandon) and James D. "Bo" Moody (Amy); her grandchildren, Aaryn Torrance (Aaron) and Caden Byrum; her sisters, Mary Davila and Helen Jaimes; her great grandchild Lilith Torrance; and her siblings-in-law, Chris Horton (Debbie), John Garza, Annie Elmore (Mike), Janie Davila and Corina Davila. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the New Life Assembly of God Church (1958 N Road St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
