David Brinson Obituary
We announce the death of David Brinson of Camden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 74. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie Brinson and Charlotte Thureckt Brinson; and his brother James Leslie Brinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Kay; his children, Linny (Susan Williams) of Bolivia, NC and Magen (Chad O'Neal) of Camden, NC.; and his brother Steve Brinson of Lenoir, NC.. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
