He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell A. Bowman and Lillian Hatter Bowman; his siblings, Debra Judith Bonds, Joseph Bowman and John Bowman; and his niece Laura Clinton.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Dillon (Whitney) of Orlando, FL, Marie Bonds of West Virginia, Scott Bowman (Mary) of Fayetteville, WV and Joseph Bonds of Coalton, WV; and his sister-in-law Glenda Bowman of Eden, NC. He is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews, an aunt and two uncles.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ridgeview Memorial Gardens (1658 NC-135, Eden, NC 27288).
