She is survived by: her husband Ernest Clayton Evans, Sr.; her daughters, Jean Currin (Roger) of Cameron, Sonya Stalls (Don) of Vass and Evelyn Scaggs (Bob) of Harrisburg; her daughter-in-law Lisa Evans of Cameron; her siblings, Angie Bailey of Chesapeake, VA and John Frye of Vass; and her grandchildren, Matthew Evans (Stacy), Brock Holder (London), Amanda Criscoe (Nathan), Lance Holder, Sam Stalls (Rebecca), Lydia Sibbald (Phil), Rob Scaggs (Ariel), Nolan Evans (Meritte), Spencer Scaggs, Jay Stalls (Victoria) and Jenny Scaggs.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 7612 NC-22, Carthage, NC 28387. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at the Johnson Grove Cemetery.
