He is survived by: his mother Faye Vaughn Ritter; his wife Jennifer Koonce Vest; his son Bailey Vest (Brooke) of Southern Pines; his stepfather Buck Ritter of West End; his stepsiblings, Brian, Scott Ritter and Janet Parrish; his grandchildren, Brynlee and Colson Vest; and his niece Alley Vest.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (1580 Carthage Rd, West End, NC 27376).
