She is survived by: her children, Wendy Whitaker of New York, Bobbie Steele of Florida, Lynda Johnston of Florida and Robert Schwechten; and her sisters, Roseann McRae of Southern Pines, Kathleen Newman of Eagle Springs, Pauline Sweat of Carthage and Mary Mashburn of Cameron. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
