He is survived by: his wife Emily Holt Johnson; his son Conrad Ray Johnson (Jan) of Chapel Hill; and his brothers, Joe Bill Johnson of Pittsboro and Roger Allen Johnson (Claudia) of South Carolina. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
