She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Jennings Lane and Gertrude Medlin Lane; her former husband William "Bill" Odell Hennings; her husband Daniel Webb Peavey; her son Billy Joe Hennings; and her siblings, Darlene Tillman, Doris Badgett, Terry Brown, Steven Lane and Jimmy Lane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Kay Hennings, Sherry Hennings Harrison (Rick), Joy Lynn Hennings (Ken), Margaret Bunnell Blue, Shelia Flynn Williams and Vickie Lane Watts; her stepsons, Wilton Peavy (Ann) and Mark Peavy (Tina); her grandchildren, Amber Blue (Mike Reed), Lindsay Brianna Schiller (Andrew), Brielle Briggs Tulley (Thomas), Ramey Celeste Faircloth, Nathan Hennings, Adam Faircloth and Whitney Marion; her great grandchildren, Haydyn Blue, Ivan Olgiati, Kate Doss, John Doss, Arius Tulley, Cambrie Tulley, Kannon Schiller, Amarion Faircloth and Arkyn Schiller; and her sister Peggy Hawthorne.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church (4460 Lobelia Rd, Vass, NC 28394). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
