She was predeceased by: her former husband Luther Frank Comer, Jr.; her son Frank "Frankie" Comer, III; and her brother William "Bill" Rogers. She is survived by: her husband Moore; her brother Glenn Rogers (Jane) of Cameron, N. C.; her children, Betty Comer Baxley, Sandra Comer Giles (Richard), Joan Comer Hackney (Tim) of Weddington, N. C., Kathy Michael Comer of Sanford, N. C. and James "Jimmy" Comer of Sanford, N. C.; her grandchildren, Michelle Kelly Sims (Daniel), Russell "Russ" Kelly (Cheryl), Kimberly Baxley Pyrant (Jimmy), Amanda Baxley Phillips (Shawn), Joshua Hackney (Pamela), Jennifer Comer, Crystal Comer and Jessica Hackney Virgadamo (Sebastian); and her siblings-in-law, Jean Kelly Rogers of Virginia, Peggy Livengood Comer of Concord, N. C., Judy Comer Loving (Tommy) of Cameron, N. C. and Dwight Marsh of Sanford, N. C.. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cameron Baptist Church (593 Carthage St, Cameron, NC 28326). A burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at the same location. Since Covid-19, she enjoyed televised worship services from Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh, N. C. After high school, she attended Mars Hill College and King's Business College in Raleigh, N. C. Before she was married, she worked on Fort Bragg in the personnel department.
