She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Doyle Evans and Gwendlyn Annette Wooden Evans; and her daughter Brittany McLamb. She is survived by: her pets, Bailey, Reba and Festus; her daughter Kristy May Taylor (Mike) of Lillington, NC; her grandson Cody Taylor; and her brother Willie Charles Evans (Phil Sochia) of Cameron, NC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (201 1st St, Broadway, NC 27505). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
