It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Frye Nickens of Cameron, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie A. Frye and Callie Mashburn Frye; and her husband Ralph Nickens. She is survived by: her son Travis Nickens (Terry) of Cameron; her grandsons, Erich Nickens (Erin), Ralph Nickens (Danielle) and Paul Nickens (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Henry, Clara and Lucia; and her siblings, Lacy Frye (Edith) and Carolyn Fowler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial donations in memory of Loretta be made to Moore Humane Society, P. O Box 203 Southern Pines, NC 28388.
