He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wesley Whitt and Norma Jean Wood Whitt; and his brothers, Ronald Franklin Whitt and Richard Lynn Whitt. He is survived by: his nieces, Jane Wilcox of Cameron, Rhonda Kangas (Brian) of Cameron and Teresa Hearn (James) of Hope Mills; his great-nieces, Lauren Wilcox and Rebecca Kangas; his great-nephew Wesley Whitt; and his aunt Mary Wood Gilmore.
