He is survived by: his wife Rhonda H Compton; his children, Paul Compton (Lora), Christopher Compton (Jessica), Cindy Higginbotham (Lemar) and Houston Compton; his grandchildren, Kelsea, Taylor, Kaleb, Kadence, Victoria, Brianna and Lane; and his great grandchildren, Lillie, Ella Mae and Silas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rogers Pickard Funeral Home (509 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
