He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixie Beatrice Dyer and Harold Clerance Bond; his brother Gerald Bond; his son James Mathew; and his granddaughters, Dena Luedke and Emma Super.
He is survived by: his godson Von Dingle.
Viewing was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
