He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grier Patterson and Lillie Estelle Cockman Patterson; his sister-in-law Kelly Patterson; and his mother-in-law Thelma Wilkie. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Wilkie Patterson; his sons, Justin Patterson (Megan) of Carthage and Tony Patrick Patterson of Cameron; his siblings, Diane Stewart (David) of Robbins, Nelson Patterson of Glendon, Johnny Patterson (Joanette) of Spies and Charles Patterson (Jamie) of South Carolina; and his father-in-law Charles Wilkie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
