She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hall and Emma Lou Whitted; her husband Marvin Rathbone Sr.; and her brother Vincent Hall. She is survived by: her children, Marvin A. Rathbone, Jr. of Candler, NC and Michelle R. Brooks (Adam) of Candler, NC; her siblings, Raymond J. Hall, Jr. of Candler, NC, Sue Hall Oates (Wayne) of Canton, NC, Dortha Hall Towe of Candler, NC and Janice Hall Boyd of Waynesville, NC; her grandchildren, Emily Brooks and Tyler Ashby of Candler, NC; and her brother-in-law Carlton Rathbone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the West Asheville Baptist Church (926 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806).
