He is survived by: his wife Susan Gregory; his sister Remona Byrd (Buck) of Hendersonville; his sisters-in-law, Edith Messer of Candler and Shirley Gregory of Hendersonville; his stepson Nathan Mathews (Heather) of Candler; and his grandchildren, Katie and Michael Mathews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
