She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Glenn and Edna O'Daniel Burrell; her grandson Jamison Gibson; and her sister Fran Poss. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Lee Redmond, Sr.; and her children, Sherry Gibson (Lee), Kimberly Redmond and Franklin Lee Redmond, Jr.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Piney Mountain Um Church Cemetery (36 Piney Mountain Church Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
