She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Couch and Lela Phillips Couch; her children, Sterling DuWayne Rose (Lois) and Mary Nadine Hawkins; and her sister Jackie Couch Kettleson.
She is survived by: her husband William Arthur Hawkins; her children, Robin Hawkins Anderson, Jeff Hawkins, Kimberly Hawkins Litz (Vance) and John William Hawkins (Heather); her grandchildren, Nathaniel Litz, Devin Anderson, Lauren Anderson and Mark Anderson; her stepgrandsons, Sean Anderson and Eric Anderson; and her brothers, Samuel Jack Couch (Anna) and George Couch (Myra).
