With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Alan Kilpatrick (Candler, North Carolina), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kilpatrick and Mary Taylor Griffin; his stepfather Devrow Griffin Sr.; and his sisters, Carolyn Fowler, Judy Plemmons and Joyce Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Howell Kilpatrick; his daughters, Laura Kilpatrick of Candler and Amy Hensley; his grandchildren, Jaci Hensley (Cole), Molli Jones (Daniel), Jaxon Hensley, Dalli Fortney (Kain) and Cole Hensley; his great grandchild Magnolia; and his brothers, Devrow Griffin, Jr. of Candler and J. B. Griffin (June) of Phoenix, AZ..
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Baptist Church (525 Old U. S. 19-23, Candler, NC 28715). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Kilpatrick to Ridgeway Baptist Church Men's Ministry at 525 Old US 19/23 Highway, Candler, NC 28715.
