It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cecil Rogers of Candler, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart McKinley Rogers and Gertrude Mae Henderson Rogers; his son John Mark Rogers; and his grandson Brandon Keith Austin. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Corn Rogers; his children, Jeff Rogers (Marilyn), Madison Rogers, Leo Tyus, Sarah Cole (Doug), Cheri Austin (Keith) and Angela Dubs; his grandchildren, Stephen Cole, Jenna Cole, Jeremy Rogers, Johnathan Austin, Grisell Austin, Christopher Austin and Sarah Austin; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, June, Abigail and Emily. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
