He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hamlin and Kathryn Hamlin; his parents-in-law, Leslie and Elizabeth Davis; his siblings, Joseph Hamlin Jr. and Marsha Thomas; his son Michael Hamlin; his niece Cheri Foley; Patricia "Patti" Hamlin.
He is survived by: his wife Patti; his sisters, Molly Johnson and Joan Davey; his children, Leslie Poe (Tim), Kay Fulp (Jim), Kevin Hamlin (Andra) and Dean Sams; his niece Dana Kenney (Rick); and his friends, George Suggs (Donna) and Ina Parr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members including nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
