He is survived by: his wife Carol Lynn Johnson; his sisters, Diana Mir (Majid) of Atlanta and Sharon Klein of Portland, Maine; his father James Johnson (Tarry) of Dothan, Alabama; and his siblings-in-law, Christopher Schmidt (Mary) of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Mary Voigt of Peoria, Illinois and Susan Stack (Robert Pierce) of Leesburg, Florida.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
